ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Youth “No Walls”: We will be meeting right after service today for a delicious lunch by our Gourmet Gals. Then, Miss CJ will tell us abut our in-reach project for today. Hopefully, you brought “GRUBBIES” to change into.

Children’s Church Information: Starting next Sunday, March 7th, the schedule for teachers will be Miss Amy–1st Sundays, Miss Laura & Miss Katelyn–2nd Sundays, Miss Jessica–3rd Sundays, Miss Rhea–4th Sundays, and Mr. Ronnie–5th Sundays.

GriefShare: GracePointe is proud to announce that we will be offering this new ministry in the Spring 2021. In order to begin the process, we will be having a GriefShare Orientation Meeting on Saturday, March 6th, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. At this time, we will go over the program and how GracePointe will be ministering to those affected by grief. There are several areas that are in need of volunteers to make this ministry a successful one. A light lunch will be provided. In order to ensure that we purchase enough food, please contact Rebecca at 392-3402 by Weds. March 3rd.

Wise Guys: Men’s Bible Study on Mondays at 1:00 PM at the church. POC is Ronnie Ferguson 201-7492.

OCC Shoeboxes 2021: Please note the following list of donations that we are requesting for the month of March. To arrange a drop off time, please contact Rebecca at 392-3402. Items are due by: March 28th.

March Items: watercolor pallets, crayons, coloring pencils/pens, coloring books (not jumbo), glue sticks, etc. You may also get yarn with knitting/crochet needles/hooks, store-bought craft/model kits (must be able to fit into a shoebox), modeling clay (in unopened containers,) etc. NOT ACCEPTABLE: acrylic/oil paints, glass, or easily breakables, loose sharp items, or anything military-related (no army model kits, etc)

ATTENTION: Due to the water break and the extensive damage it created, certain areas/rooms of the church have been placed on a “No Admittance”. For safety sake, please adhere to these postings. Thank you!

Youth Group: We will be meeting this evening, February 21st at 6:00 PM downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for snacks and games. We then will proceed upstairs for the second episode of “The Chosen”. This is a great video series to bring your friends, classmates, neighbors, etc to view and hold great discussion! For more information, contact Marc Frazer 313-7005.

Children’s Church: Will meet NEXT Sunday, February 28th following the praise and worship portion of the service.

“Band of Brothers” Men’s Small Group: We will meet this Wednesday, February 24th at 6:00 PM. Since the MPR is unavailable, we will be meeting in the back of the Worship Center. For more information, contact Patrick Hill at 287-8056.

Youth Group “No Walls” Sunday: Next Sunday, February 28th, 11:45 AM the youth group will meet downstairs for a yummy lunch, and to receive instructions on our “No Walls” Sunday project. OCC Shoebox Needs for February: Accessories & Clothing Please donate any NEW children’s clothing (2T–14 years). Remember these items must be able to fit into a shoebox size container. Also accessories ie, children’s watches, costume jewelry (rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc), belts, purses, sunglasses, scarves/bandanas, hats, visors, hair items (scrunchies, barrettes, ponytail bands, clips, ribbons, etc) If you have any items to donate, please contact Rebecca in the office (392-3402) and she can make arrangements to receive your donations. These are due: Sun. February 28th.

Special Offerings given in February will go towards: Insurance.

Office Hours: Due to the damage in the office area, Rebecca is currently setting up a temporary office space in the old TEC Office Manager’s office. Her anticipated hours in the CHURCH this week are: Tuesday 23rd 2:00 PM, Thursday 25th 4:30 PM, and Friday 26th 2:00 PM.

Children’s Church: In preparation of getting all of our teachers necessary for Children’s Church, we are still getting a couple of our teachers trained and ready. Therefore, today (February 14th) and next Sunday, February 21st, we will NOT be having Children’s Church. Miss Jessica will be ready to work with our kids on Sunday, February 28th.

Soup-Er Bowl 2021: It was a close one! Only 1 vote separated 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! From the 8 soups that were submitted, John Alloway took 3rd Place with his Chicken Taco Soup. CJ Callahan took home 2nd Place with her Mac & Cheese Soup, and 1st Place went to Christianna and Debbie Schlosser with their Chicken Pot Pie Soup. Thank you to all who participated–see you next year!

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes 2021: We are all ready to get started collecting monthly donations for our shoebox packing party in November 2021. Please take a look at the listing following these announcements.

GP Family “Wall of Crosses”: We will be creating a focal wall of CROSSES (near the water fountain.) Each family is asked to purchase a cross that will represent their family. Rebecca has crosses available for purchase. Prices range from $4.00-$20.00. For more information, contact her at 392-3402.

Soup-Er Bowl Fellowship: Today following the Morning Worship!! Help us vote on a winner, and award the Golden Soup-Er Bowl Trophy to a lucky person!

Children’s Church: Begins today! Children Kindergarten–5th Grades will be released following the praise/worship time for attendance in Children’s Church downstairs. The teacher will bring the children back up to you at the response music time.

Youth Group: There will be NO Youth Group meetings tonight and next Sunday, February 14th. We will reconvene on Sunday, February 21st at 6:00 PM.
