The Bible is God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind. It is the message of God’s relationship to His creation. It is true and trustworthy. It is the essential rule of faith and practice for all.
Jesus has existed throughout eternity. However, in order to fulfil the redemption for mankind, He allowed Himself to take on the physical body of humanity (incarnation). He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross for the sins of people. He was buried in a tomb but was resurrected from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is the one and only way of salvation. He will return one day to judge and rule over all.
There is only one God. He is the Creator of the universe. As such, He is absolute Ruler of all. He reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
People have a sin nature that rebels against and disobeys God. This leads individuals to choose to commit acts of sin. Salvation is the gracious work of God where He forgives and brings people into a right relationship with Himself (righteousness). This is accomplished through the shed blood of Jesus. By faith, one must personally receive Jesus as Savior and Lord in order to be forgiven. This act involves turning away from their rebellious lifestyle (repentance), trusting in the finished work of Christ and committing themselves to obey Jesus as Lord. Salvation not only removes the guilt of sin (justification) but also breaks the bondage of sin and empowers the individual through the indwelling Holy Spirit (sanctification).
Encounter God’s Saving Grace: Encountering God is His plan for every person. God desires that we connect with Him. We cannot do this on our own. It is because of grace that He offers forgiveness.
When we turn away from attempting to live a life without Him, He is ready to forgive and change our life. This forgiveness cannot be earned, it is a gift from God to us.
God offers this forgiveness because Jesus died on the cross for us.
Experience God’s Daily Grace: Grace is not just something that happens when we decide to follow Jesus. God
desires for us to experience His presence, power, and purpose for our life every day. This is God's daily grace. God wants us to live a full and meaningful life and experience His love at all times.
Express God’s Loving Grace: God's plan is that what we encounter of Him and experience from Him we then express to others. The world needs God's love and grace. He has chosen us to demonstrate His grace in practical ways to people.
We thus earn the right to be heard by others concerning God's plan for forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
A church is defined by what they believe as well as what they do. Belief affects behavior. Therefore, foundational beliefs are essential to being the people of God. Please contact us if you have any questions.
